So ngayon, tuloy-tuloy ang ating investigation,” he said.
Yebra said the suspect has denied participation in the gruesome crime, but said the police evidence that point his involvement in the killing of 23-year-old Mabel Tagala Cama.
Cama was raped, killed and her body was burned and dumped in a towing company’s garage in Barangay Rosario, Pasig City last week.
Police had initially said they are considering the involvement of five people, who are believed to be residents of the same compound where Cama lived.
Yebra said in the interview that the Pasig City local government has expressed interest in putting up additional reward money for the arrest of Cama’s killers.
